Spring is here!

Well, Boston…it finally happened.  We thawed out!

I honestly didn’t think the day would come.  I have been watching the Charles River out of my window for weeks, wishing and willing the trees to turn green!  All of my friends and family back home in California have been laying out by the pool since February.  It just doesn’t seem right.

But once spring does arrive, my goodness is it worth it.

I love watching the trees flower.  The whites, pinks, yellows and greens make even the grumpiest of mornings turn happy.  We have been spending so much time outside enjoying this beautiful weather that I even got a bit sun-burnt this week.  While I always suggest practicing “safe sun”, it was nice to get some color!

Now that the kids can get out and play more, I’ll be bring the camera out more and more at my own house.  I need something fresh and spring like on my walls!  Do you need some new shots in your frames?  Chances are…the kids have grown a bit!  Or you and your husband have had another anniversary…?

Time passing by is something to be documented and celebrated, not feared.  You’ll want to look back on the moments of today as they are some of the best days of your life!

Great changes at Thomas Jayne Photography!

Hello, Everyone!

I am so excited to debut my new website!  Along with some surface changes, you’ll notice that I’ve made new price packages.  You get more time, more images and more quality for your hard earned money.

Outside of the world wide web, my business has also made some changes!  Starting in September, I will be based in Attleboro, Massachusetts.  This will allow me to serve Rhode Island as well as Massachusetts!  I’m looking forward to meeting so many new people.   If you are curious as to whether or not I can come to you, please feel free to email me.  I love to travel and find new places with my clients.  I just moved to Massachusetts in October of 2012, and because of all the amazing locations we’ve shot at, I’ve been able to see so much of this beautiful state.

Also, I am offering a special Maternity and Newborn Package!  Please contact me for pricing and availability!

Thank you so much!  I hope you are looking forward to the warm weather as much as I am…!

Looking for something different besides a traditional package?

I am the kind of girl who can never order something off of a menu exactly as it is.  It may be annoying, but what can I say? I love to get what I want, haha!

If you are having an event and my packages don’t seem to be a good fit for what you’re looking for, please do not hesitate to contact me!  Whether it’s a wedding, retirement or birthday party, family reunion, etc.  I can work out special prices specific for certain events.

I hope to be the photographer that creates the images that you cherish for a lifetime!

We are so fortunate to live in the most beautiful part of the United States: New England!  I hail from the great state of California, which is beautiful as well.  But I never really appreciated the seasons until I moved here.

Where I’m from we have two seasons.  Generally speaking we have hot and we have coolish-cold.  In fact, a day in the low 50s felt freezing to me where here, after a winter full of days in the 20′s, I was in a tee shirt when we hit 45!  It’s amazing how quickly you can get acclimated.

I’ve been in Watertown for almost a year now; I have officially seen a full cycle of winter, spring, summer and fall.   I have to admit, fall is my FAVORITE.  The rich colors, the snuggly weather,  the boots, the coats and scarves (still more for style than necessity)…all make for fabulous pictures!  I am taking bookings for the changing of the leaves in late September and October and I hope I can get you and your loved ones, friends, fiance, baby belly, whomever in front of my lens!  Click here to contact me for more information!
